Orientation Services

As a take off on initiation rites, the IID provides one-time induction programs for the needs of persons who aspire and are on the threshold of assuming directorship for the first time. This will be a handholding service to ready an incumbent. An insight into the legal and ethical duties and responsibilities are provided at these workshops to assist forming a breed of professional Director.

Intellectual Support Services

The institute sees itself as a medium of providing a spate of intellectual and support services to its members and non- members. The spheres of activities include: Conducting insight programmes on role awareness of a director. Assisting the Director on all critical/occupational specific issues. Updating the director on current affairs directly relevant to his position as Director. Providing information/data to new incumbent that will act as a useful professional guide. Rendering expert services in all areas of corporate management with particular emphasis on corporate governance.

Publication

This will be a lasting imprint on the Directors' development process. A quarterly Newsletter, which will keep Associate members well informed of the happenings at IID, latest Government decisions, changes in the economic scenario and a column to voice members' views.

Placement Services

The IID through its placement cell finds the right fit for aspiring professional, non-executive and executive directors. In addition, for companies that need eminent non-executive directors to grace their boards, the IID provides suitable finds through its network of eminent persons and prominent corporates.

Supportive Services

IID also provides data support on corporate analysis, industry profiles and business climates.
