Mr. S. Srinivasan

Mr. S. Srinivasan, 57, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of
Company Secretaries of India. He was the Vice-Chairman of the
Southern India Regional Council of Institute of Company Secretaries
of India. Mr. Srinivasan completed his schooling in Mumbai and
graduated in Science from National College, Bangalore. Thereafter he
retuned to Mumbai where he pursued his professional studies in
Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretaryship. On qualifying as a
Company Secretary in 1979, he migrated to Chennai and established S.
Srinivasan & Co., in 1984. He is presently the Senior Partner of the
firm. He has a very rich practical experience and has focus on
Company Law with an emphasis on the provision of the Act relating to
corporate lending. He is a pioneer in the field of practicing
company secretaries and is a regular speaker in the various seminars
organized by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, banks
and other fora. On his visit to UK a couple of years ago , he had
the occasion to have detailed discussions with the officials of the
Institute of Directors London. This inspired and prompted him to
promote the Indian Institute of Directors a section 25 company of
which he is a promoter director. He is currently authorizing a book
on "Insight into Registration of charges" which is expected to be
published very shortly.
